Welcome to Stage 4!
This is where everything you’ve been learning in Pathfinder starts to come together.
In this Stage of Pathfinder, you’ll learn the process and strategies behind realistic planning.
You’ll build on the knowledge you gained in Stage 3, using your more accurate “time sense” and your choice of planning tools. And you’ll make good use of most everything you’ve learned in previous Stages as well.
Solid planning combines skill and judgment
There are definite skills involved in planning. Some of them involve what you’ve learned in earlier lessons: breaking down projects, using techniques like mind-mapping to brainstorm all the steps to consider in your plan, practicing efficiency and organizing information.
You’ll also be using your judgment, which should be getting better with time and practice. Here is where your experience in consciously estimating time and honing your time sense will make a big difference in the accuracy of your planning.
Your personal attributes and tendencies play a big part in how you fulfill your plans. You’ll learn to become aware of who is “driving your bus” in a way that may derail your plan, and of the important role that mindset plays in reaching your goals.
And you’ll learn how to figure your own ADHD traits and tendencies into your plan.
- OPTIONAL: Click the red “Mark Completed” button after you consume each lesson to see your progress in the program. This will allow you to be taken to where you left off when you log back in.
- Remember, a new lesson will open to you every two weeks. Between lessons, you’re encouraged to get any questions you have answered in live Office Hours.
