When your brain has a mind of its own…
As someone with the traits of ADD / ADHD, you know that sometimes, despite all your best intentions, you just can’t get your brain to cooperate! It sometimes feels like your BRAIN has a mind of its own.
Imagine if you had a group of characters living inside your head, and they were all riding together in a private bus.
At any time, one or another of those characters could take the wheel and drive. That character is — for the moment — in charge of your thoughts and actions.
The characters riding in your bus are unique to you. The ones who are most dominant in your bus may be different than those who take charge in another person’s bus.
